Calling all Sunday School teachers, children’s ministry workers and those who want a refresher on ministering to children, the 11th Intake of Certificate in Practical Children’s Ministry 2021 (CPCM) is open for registration.

In this new normal, the lessons will be conducted via Zoom but God’s Word remains unchanged.

“He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelist, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”

Module Three – Teaching Techniques
9 Oct: Creative Lesson Planning & Basic Practical Bible Teaching
26 Oct: Creative Ways of Scripture Memorization
2 Nov: Creative Story-telling Techniques
9 Nov: Using Objects & Games That Teach Bible Truths
16 Nov: Reaching the Next Generation

There are no exams but practicums for full certification participants.
Full certification requires the completion of 14 topics, duration of one-and-a-half hours each online session.

The following criteria must be fulfilled by every participant pursuing the certificate:
1. Minimum 80% online attendance.
2. Written reflection assignments (only when requested by the trainer).
3.Two video recordings of your teaching involvement (one on “Teacher Development & Skills” & “Teaching Techniques:).
4. Course Orientation on July 6 2021, 7pm.
5. Confirmation of registration is subject to full payment for modular or topical registrations, followed by an email acknowledgment from SU-Sg.
6. Scripture Union Singapore reserves the right to change the date where/when necessary.
