FAITH AT HOME – WHY SHOULD WE AND HOW DO WE?

In a world that values academic excellence and material success over spiritual growth, why should parents pay attention to their children’s spiritual health and maturity?

What does the Bible say about the role of parents? How can parents be effective disciple-makers in their own homes?

This series of workshops aims to answer the questions of why faith at home is so critical and how, with practise and lots of heart, any parent can fulfil the mandate of Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
1. Understand the Biblical role of parents in bringing up their children;
2. Understand the unique parent-church partnership in a child’s spiritual formation;
3. Understand and apply the basic principles of leading family devotion time; and
4. Write a simple family devotion lesson plan that can be used and shared.

Only one registration is needed for couples.

Time: 2pm to 4pm
