Congratulations! You are now a grandparent. But what is your role and responsibility? What are the value and significance of being one? And can it possibly be a liability?

Here is a talk and dialogue on how to be a good and wise grandparent.

Besides the perennial issues of the level of involvement and support, caregiving but not spoiling our grandkids, the seminar will also be looking at biblical examples (good and not so good) and the potential of leaving a spiritual legacy with values and virtues that will make a marked difference in our grandchildren’s lives.

You can indeed be a model, mentor and memory-maker!

Grandchildren are a grandparent’s link to the future. Grandparents are the child’s link to the past. Two of the most satisfying experiences in life must be those of being a grandchild and being a grandparent.

Speaker Bishop Emeritus Dr Robert Solomon is a well-known and sought-after teacher and preacher in Singapore and abroad. Drawing from his extensive ministry and faithful study of God’s Word, he has written more than 40 books, including Marriage and Family, Jesus & His Family, Raising the Next Generation, and Growing Old Gracefully.

Coaching & Consulting focus on education and equipping a person in the soft skills of intra- and inter-personal relationships (understanding self and helping people) that enables him or her to develop his or her full potential. It employs various means like psychological assessments, clinical supervision, personal mentoring and spiritual direction – where people can flourish.
