To commemorate World Habitat Day (Oct 4) and the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (Oct 17), join Habitat for Humanity Singapore’s Carnival Fun-Raiser.
It will be a time where the spotlight will be on the organisation’s talented supporters and volunteers. There will be a whole bunch of performers and subject matter experts who will be dishing out an exciting line-up of workshops and performances to raise funds for the Habitat cause.
Whether it is to learn a new skill, get exercising or groove to the melodious tunes by some of the talented supporters, there will be a variety of sessions both online and in-person to appeal to every age.
Habitat staff will also be present at the workshop to share more about the work that they do to ensure that the needy have a decent place to live and why that is key to eradicating poverty.
Secure your spot for your session of choice by donating a token sum.
If you would like to make a general donation, you may do so here.
Date: October 4-17, 2021

About the Organiser:
Habitat for Humanity Singapore is part of the international Habitat non-profit organisation that seeks to eliminate poverty housing worldwide.
Convicted that safe and affordable housing provides a path out of poverty, they have been working alongside low-income communities to increase their access to improved living conditions.
Since 2004, Habitat Singapore regularly sends volunteer teams to build decent and affordable houses across the Asia-Pacific. Locally, they provide an intensive home rehabilitation programme for vulnerable individuals and families so they can have a safe and sanitary place to call home.
