HOW TO OVERCOME AND OUTLAST PORN (HOP)

Feeling tossed around by your failures in your fight against porn? Feeling beaten and battered, on the verge of giving up hope of ever overcoming porn? Discouraged that you’re always taking three steps forward and two steps back?

Have you:

  • Installed anti-porn software on your electronic devices only to find yourself looking for ways to beat the system?
  • Stopped watching hard core porn but are satisfying yourself with soft porn instead?
  • Attempted to divert your attention from porn but discovered the yearning did not lessen but became more intense?

Then sign up for HOP – Breaking the Addiction Code. Join facilitator Josh Lam as he interviews Alvin Cheong about the origins of addictions, what makes a person susceptible and ways to outsmart them.

Who will benefit from the HOP:

  • If you know of someone who is struggling with porn or any other unwanted behaviour
  • If you are helping someone who is struggling with porn or any other unwanted behaviour

What you will learn:

  • Why you are drawn to porn
  • What keeps you entangled in the web of porn
  • What porn does to the body, mind and soul

Take a step back to move forward. Understand your enemy and yourself first.

About the Organiser:
Cru Singapore is a caring community passionate about connecting others to Jesus. A parachurch organisation, they support local churches in missions, discipleship and evangelism.

Josh Lam struggled with porn in his teens and even as a full-time Christian worker. He understands the challenges and the shame that men go through. Lam finds it troubling that porn robs people of their identity and hinders them from living out their God-given destinies. He now journeys with men to help them re-discover their identity and start living out their victory over porn, one step at a time.
