MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE (MARCH 2023)

Many young couples’ expectations of marriage revolve around the false belief that love will get them through rough times. While love is important, it won’t be enough if couples don’t have the attitudes and skills they need for successful marriage.

Join FamilyLife Singapore’s March to April 2023 Marriage Preparation Course to learn how to build a great long-term relationship that can withstand the inevitable strains of modern life.

Who this course is for:

Couples who are engaged or in their first year of marriage. Full attendance for all four sessions is required.

Aims of the course: 

Help couples lay strong biblical foundations for their marriage and ​equip them with practical skills and knowledge to manage life together as husband and wife. It is conducted through in-person group sessions comprising couple and group discussions.

Topics covered

• Understanding God’s blueprint for marriage
• Biblical roles and responsibilities
• Managing expectations & handling differences
• Communication and conflict resolution
• Spiritual and sexual intimacy in marriage
• Financial management 

Also included:

A PREPARE/ENRICH customised couple assessment that identifies a couple’s strengths and potential growth areas which is to be completed online prior to the course. A trained facilitator will arrange a private Zoom session to discuss your results and to share tips on improving your relationship skills.

Course fee: 

S$200 per couple, inclusive of GST and online Prepare/Enrich assessment.

Important to note:

1. Full attendance for all four sessions is required. If you are unable to attend any, please sign up for the next run instead. 
2. Fill in Participants’ Info Form after ticket purchase.
3. Payment is non-refundable except when the course is cancelled at the discretion of FamilyLife Singapore.    
4. Closing date: January 9, 2023 (or when all places are filled). Register early to avoid disappointment.
