Golden Village VivoCity
This year, World Vision brings a rare and personal insight into the harsh realities of the climate crisis on the most vulnerable people. Join this charity movie screening to support children, families and communities who are being knocked to their knees by disasters that hit them one after another.
Combining stunning cinematography with first-person accounts, Thank You for The Rain is a vividly textured documentary that captures the life struggles of Kisilu, a farmer in Kenya living on the frontlines of the climate crisis. More than the floods, droughts and storms, the film also sheds light on the human costs of the climate crisis on livelihood, education and food security. Watch how Kisilu transforms from a father to a community leader to an activist on the global stage.
Your donations will go towards The Survival Fund to support children and families affected by disasters and climate change.
