Bible reading for Day 30 | Acts 13:2-3
2 While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting,
the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul
for the work to which I have called them.”
3 So after they had fasted and prayed,
they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
In today’s passage, Paul tells us about the church in Antioch and their heart of obedience to do God’s will. There are 3 things we can learn from this church:
Ask God
The Antioch church wanted to know what was on God’s heart so that they knew what He wanted them to do.
See God
They saw that God was working not just in their own city of Antioch, but in other cities as well, for the good of His whole Kingdom!
Obey God
When God spoke to the church in Antioch, they obeyed and did exactly what God told them to do.
Discuss
1. How can you know what is on God’s heart?
2. What are some ways that you and your family can be a blessing to the nations around Singapore?
Pray
1. Pray for God to give you a heart that is willing to know and obey His will.
2. Pray that God will help you to see the work that He is doing in the nations around Singapore, and how you can be a blessing to them.
