For three weeks, as “pai kia” (bad boy) Alvin Chiong did his Quiet Time in the halfway house where was staying, he heard a voice say: “Get out of this place. It cannot help you anymore.”
Unable to ignore the “loud and clear voice”, he quit his job at the halfway house.
In three days he would have no job and no home.
“God, I believe it was Your voice I heard. But I don’t even have the faith of a mustard seed right now,” Alvin cried out. “Help me.”
