Bible reading for Day 5 | Isaiah 66:24
“And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
Do you know what this verse is saying? It describes what will happen to those who do not know God. Imagine spending forever in hell with worms that eat the flesh and fire that does not stop burning. It is urgent for us to share the Gospel, so that people can know of and turn to Jesus. So that they can spend happily ever after with Jesus. Not horribly ever after in hell.
Jesus was always looking out for people to teach, to feed, to heal, to make into His disciples so that they can go and tell others about Him. Are you ready?
Discuss
1. Do you feel it is urgent to share the Gospel with your family and friends? If not, why not?
2. Who are the people God has put in your life to share the Gospel with?
Pray
1. Ask God to put a sense of urgency in you to share the Gospel. Ask God to give you heartache when you meet people who are not saved.
2. Pray that God will give you the chance to share the Gospel with people in your life.
