SOUND OF HOPE MOVIE SCREENING

Inspired by a true story, Sound of Hope follows Donna and Reverend Martin as they ignite a movement of compassion in their East Texas church, rallying 22 families to adopt 77 of the hardest-to-place children in the foster care system.

Come and discover how a church made a God-sized impact on children and families, and how the Lord may be inviting His people to respond with compassion, courage and action.

There will also be a sharing by the producers/writers, Joshua and Rebekah Weigel, who will be in town.

Why attend?

  • Be encouraged and inspired to consider how you can make a difference to vulnerable children and families, including those in the foster care system.
  • For foster parents, let this powerful story speak into your journey and offer encouragement along the way.
  • Meet the film’s producers, Joshua and Rebekah Weigel, and gain exclusive insights into the heart and vision behind the film.

Watch the trailer (rated PG13) here.

About the organiser:
This event is brought to you by World Without Orphans SG (WWO-SG), together with Epworth Community Services, Home for Good Singapore (HFG-SG) and Wesley Methodist Church.

World Without Orphans (WWO) is a global movement of Christ-followers who are committed to serving all children and families. It is manifested through grassroots movements, which implement family-based solutions for orphans and vulnerable children in their communities, nations and networks. Its mission is to call and equip national leaders to collaborate in solving their own country’s orphaned and vulnerable children’s crisis.

The vision of WWO started over 10 years ago in the Ukraine, with the prayer for three men with a heart to bring change to the thousands of children in orphanages in their country. Today, WWO also has a Southeast Asian regional network made up of Pastors and professionals from Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand – forming WWO Southeast Asia.
