ASIA PENTECOSTAL SUMMIT 2026: RISING VOICES OF ASIAN PENTECOSTALISM

What does it mean for Pentecostal churches in Asia to be rooted in the Word, filled with the Spirit and ablaze with the love of Christ in this generation?

The Asia Pentecostal Summit 2026 gathers Pentecostal scholars, church leaders, ministers and practitioners from around the world for a time of rigorous theological reflection, meaningful dialogue and spiritual renewal.

Themed “Rising Voices of Asian Pentecostalism”, APS 2026 seeks to strengthen, clarify and renew Pentecostal churches across Asia as they discern the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church and the world today.

Asia Pentecostal Summit 2026 is part of the Global Pentecostal Voices initiative, which brings together Western and Majority World Pentecostal scholars as equal partners in theological conversation, with the aim of strengthening the local church and making rich Pentecostal theological reflection accessible to the wider Body of Christ.

Who will speak

Participants will hear from leading global Pentecostal scholars and leaders, including:

Dr Amos Yong is a Malaysian-American Pentecostal theologian and Professor of Theology and Mission at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been Dean of School of Theology and School of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Seminary, since July 1, 2019. Dr Yong is one of the most prolific writers among Pentecostal theologians, and his works include Spirit-Word-Community: Theological Hermeneutics in Trinitarian Perspective.

Dr Wolfgang Vondey, a German-born Pentecostal theologian and current Professor of Christian Theology and Pentecostal Studies at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He is director for the Centre for Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies, the editor of the Journal of the European Pentecostal Studies, and the author of Pentecostal Theology: Living the Full Gospel, which received the Pneuma Book Award in 2018.

Dr Frank D Macchia is the associate director of the Centre for Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies at Bangor University in Wales, and professor of Christian Theology at Vanguard University in California. As an ecumenical theologian, Prof Frank engages in broad conversations, serving six years on the Faith and Order Commission of the National Council of Churches in America, as well as in other conversations, such as the Reformed and Pentecostal Dialogue.

About the organisers:
Global Pentecostal Voices is dedicated to advancing scholarly reflection on issues vital to sustaining the Pentecostal vibrancy of Majority World Christianity. City Harvest Church is a Pentecostal church in Singapore that is Christ-centred, Spirit-led and Bible-inspired. Together with GPVoices, it invites Pentecostals from around the world to engage in open dialogue, share insights and explore the richness of Pentecostalism for the renewal and strengthening.
