REVIVAL BEYOND THE CHURCH: RECLAIMING THE MARKETPLACE

Across the world, there are growing signs of spiritual revival and rising church engagement among the Gen Z and young adults.

Movements such as the Asbury Outpouring have challenged the assumption that faith is in decline. In many regions, Christianity continues to grow while a generation often described as secular is showing a hunger for meaning, purpose and God.

History shows that awakenings rarely remain within the walls of the church. They spill into society through transformed people who carry God’s presence into every sphere of culture.

What if the next great move of God is not only filling churches, but also commissioning leaders to faithfully shape culture, commerce and society for His glory?

Come for this talk-cum-panel discussion to explore the unique role of Christian marketplace leaders, drawing from Scripture, revival history and contemporary friends.

About the speaker

Robin Lim is a former investment banker, entrepreneu, and marketplace preacher, and now a Professor of Business at Asbury University, where he teaches on the intersection of faith and business. He is also Co-Founder of The Liminal Group, a global movement dedicated to awakening, forming and connecting marketplace leaders for Kingdom impact.

By God’s providence, Robin found himself unexpectedly positioned to be part of a small team of students, faculty and ministry leaders who helped steward the 2023 Asbury Outpouring. Having witnessed firsthand the hunger for God that emerged during that season, Robin has since been invited to share globally on themes of spiritual awakening, revival, faith and work, and the role of marketplace leaders in helping to carry renewal beyond the church walls and into every sphere of society.
