Dear Salt&Light,
On Sundays after the sermon I often feel fired up for God. But on Monday when I have to face my unreasonable boss, my good intentions fail me. How should I handle my boss and myself?

This is not an uncommon experience. The culture and people in church and the workplace are diversely different.
As believers, we are called to change culture by being salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16).
We need to change the culture by bringing in heaven into your workplace.
We need to change the culture by bringing in heaven into your workplace.
We do that by first changing ourselves.
You may want to fast and pray for your workplace.
Listen deeply to what God is saying to you about you and your workplace. And how you can change the culture there. Obey His prompting and wait for Him to bring the necessary change.
Meanwhile, love your boss, and pray for him/her in the same way the Bible calls us to regard our opponents (Matthew 5:43-48).
The grass is greener on the side you water the most.
It is time to water your workplace with fasting and praying. And in due time, you will see the change.
