The Methodist Church in Singapore today launched a series of 135 daily prayers as a reminder that “our God reigns! In the best of times and the worst of times, He is always on the throne”.
As part of MCS135 celebrations, the prayers call for all Methodists to pause at 1.35pm every day to pray in unison for:
- Holiness of heart and life
- Charitable love for our neighbours
- Spiritual vitality for the Methodist movement
- Turnaround of the global situation for God’s glory
The Day 1 prayer (below) calls for love to “motivate our circuit-breaking habits to protect families, friends and neighbours from COVID-19”.
