Bible reading for Day 33 |Psalm 2:10-12
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
Be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
And celebrate his ruling with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
And your way will lead to your destruction,
For his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
God has made His Son, Jesus Christ, King over everything – over all creation and all people of every nation.
God’s desire is that everyone should come to know and believe in Jesus as Saviour.
But how will they know and believe if they do not hear? God wants us to be part of His plan to bring the Good News of Jesus to those who do not know Him.
We can boldly tell others these truths about Jesus, God’s Son and chosen King:
- Jesus is King over everything.
- Jesus will come back again soon.
- Jesus gives us peace with God.
- Jesus is our refuge.
- Jesus’ death on the cross offers us forgiveness for all our sins.
