Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
Do you know why the mighty ship, the Titanic, sank? It hit a giant iceberg. Nobody saw the iceberg because the sailors on the ship did not have binoculars to help them see far enough to spot the iceberg.
In the same way, if we do not open our eyes to look far, we will miss the people who are looking for God, waiting to accept Jesus. If they do not hear the Gospel, they will never know God’s Kingdom.
To share the Gospel with many people, many workers are needed! How can you help?
Open your eyes and look around you. See the people God has put in your life. Take care of them. Show them God’s love. Tell them about Jesus.
Discuss
1. Open your eyes to look at the people around you on the bus or MRT, in school or in the shopping mall. Imagine if many of them have not even heard of Jesus. What do you think they are missing?
2. Who do you think you can share the Gospel with? How would you do it?
Pray
1. Pray that God will open your eyes to see people who need to hear about Jesus. Is it your Ah Ma or Ah Kong? Is it your aunty who takes care of you at home? Is it the schoolbus uncle?
2. Pray that God will help you talk to them so they can know Jesus and love Jesus.
