METHODIST SCHOOL OF MUSIC ORGAN WORKSHOP

Join the Methodist School of Music (MSM) for a hands-on organ workshop led by the renowned Dr Michael Burkhardt. Designed for church organists, organ students and anyone eager to serve in worship, this workshop is your chance to elevate your skills and deepen your understanding of liturgical hymn-playing.

About the instructor

Dr Michael Burkhardt is a distinguished organist, choral clinician and hymn festival leader celebrated for his creative and inspiring work. He is Artist-Professor of Organ at Eastern Michigan University and Founder-Artistic Director of the hearts, hands and voices of the Worship and Fine Arts Programme for Children. A sought-after performer and educator, he has led tours in South Korea and Singapore, sharing his expertise in church music worldwide.

Time: 7.30pm–9.30pm

Cost: $120 (including GST). The first 50 sign-ups will enjoy a 50% subsidy.

About the Organiser:
The Methodist School of Music is a member of the Methodist Schools network. MSM was founded in 1997 as an agency of the Methodist Church in Singapore and is registered with the Ministry of Education.

Its three-fold thrust is to:

  • Contribute towards the development of music in Singapore and the region.
  • Equip Christians for the needs of the music ministry.
