Prancing Giraffes is an inclusive dance class for children of different abilities.
Dance helps children build social skills and learn to relate to one another. Through dance, children learn to work together to perform well.
The dance techniques taught will be based on ballet techniques, though the genre of dance can be varied. It is a dance class with a performance focus (not exam- or competition-geared).
For more details, visit Prancing Giraffes’ Facebook page.
Children with special needs can learn how to relate with others through social activity (dance) and games. Every lesson is intentionally designed for interaction for children of different abilities. It is also to give everyone in the group opportunity to perform and to achieve as one.
