“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)
In a world that is troubled and hurting, we are called to keep the light alive. Jesus, the light of the world, calls us to be beacons of hope in times of darkness. When the walls seem to be caving in, whether in our lives or in the lives of those in the nations, we are reminded to let our light shine, to guide, to comfort and to bring peace.
At Night of Hope, as we come together on World Children’s Day, we hold out our light for the world’s most vulnerable children, lifting them with hope and love so that they are never forgotten and never alone.
Together let us worship, pray and hear stories of transformation that reveal how God’s light continues to shine, even in the hardest of times. Hear from very special guests from Mongolia, who will be sharing their faith testimonies that reveal how God’s light continues to shine, even in the hardest of times.
Meet Myagmartsermaa Delgersaikhan, National Resource Development Director at World Vision Mongolia, and hear her inspiring story on how she grew up in a World Vision-supported community and now works passionately to give back.
Meet a sponsored child from Selenge Area Programme in Mongolia, whose life has been transformed by the love and support from World Vision. Her testimony will give a glimpse into her journey breaking free from poverty.
Together, we can spread the joy and peace that Christ brings.
