WORSHIP GENERATION: CHILDREN’S CAMP

Help your child grow in faith and worship as he or she explores the Christian story through the Church Year.

What it is

Children in Worship (CIW) 2025 is a three-day camp that offers a vibrant space for musical exploration, creative expression and spiritual growth for your child. Through music, storytelling and interactive worship activities, children will develop confidence, discover their gifts and deepen their understanding of how faith and music connect to daily life.

At the heart of the camp is the Christian Church Year, which guides the children through:

  • The Cycle of Light (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany) – Celebrating Christ as the Light of the World.
  • The Cycle of Life (Lent, Holy Week, Easter) – Reflecting on God’s sacrifice and new life in Christ.
  • The Cycle of Growth (Pentecost, Kingdomtide) – Living out faith daily and growing spiritually.

What to expect

  • Learn what worship means and why it matters
  • Express faith through singing, rhythm and music
  • Parents join on the final day to explore ways to continue the journey at home

About the organiser:
The Methodist School of Music is a member of the Methodist Schools network. MSM was founded in 1997 as an agency of the Methodist Church in Singapore and is registered with the Ministry of Education.

Its three-fold thrust is to:

  • Nurture individuals regardless of race or religion, towards musical excellence;
  • Contribute towards the development of music in Singapore and the region;
  • Equip Christians for the needs of the music ministry.

Its goal is to equip and edify both the individual and the church through music and the performing arts.
