Chinese New Year is just days away and a major part of the festivities is the gathering of family and friends in various homes.

As mandarin oranges are exchanged and hongbaos (red packets) dispersed, why not pronounce a blessing or two? If you are stumped for what Christian greetings to offer, Salt&Light consulted four pastors who preach in Mandarin for godly blessings that you can use this Chinese New Year.

In this new year, may you enjoy wholeness and reconciliation.

祝你在新的一年中天天喜乐，健康平安
In this new year, may you have joy every day, good health and peace.

在这新的一年，求主加添力量，赐你信心与盼望，
In this new year, may the Lord add to you strength, faith and hope.

新年蒙福得安康，所做的工尽都顺利
May you be blessed with good health in the New Year, and may everything you do go smoothly.
