8 events you can invite family and friends to this Easter weekend

Forgiveness of sins, power to live joyously now, and life for eternity with the ultimate Source of love – there is no better news than the promises that come to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
As we remember what God has done for us this Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, why not share the Good News with those near and dear? Here are 8 free events to which you can invite them.
Productions
1. Go Tell the World: An Easter mini musical by St Paul’s Church

Come witness the amazing story of what happened on that first Easter morning. In addition to the mini musical that captures the wonder of the resurrection of Jesus, there will be a celebration with food, music and fun.
A children’s Easter programme with games will be available as well.

2. Mission Earth: A City Harvest Church Easter Production 2025

This year, the City Harvest Church drama team is presenting an original production called Mission Earth. The drama follows the journey of a hotshot agent who sets out to support Jesus’ mission to save mankind, only to have his faith in humanity shaken.
There are four Easter Services, two of which are bilingual. The production contains a video clip that has been rated PG13 due to some drug references.

3. Garden to Cross – A Resurrection Weekend Special by Cornerstone Church

Garden to Cross is a powerful story of how Jesus’ arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane and His death on the cross matters, and why it is significant to us no matter what situation we feel trapped in.
Come and retrace the footsteps of Jesus from Garden to Cross and experience the living hope from this powerful and personal encounter.
Mandarin subtitles will be available and there will be a livestream of the service on YouTube.
There will also be a Children’s Church service at each of the services.

2. Easter Gospel rally by STEMI (Stephen Tong Evangelistic Ministries International)

Rev Dr Stephen Tong, the Founder and Chairman of Reformed Evangelical Movement, International Reformed Evangelical Church and STEMI, will be preaching at a special Easter Gospel rally.
Rev Tong has preached to more than 37 million people over a span of over 66 years of ministries in Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa, and in North and South America. As an evangelist firmly rooted in Reformed theology, his dynamic messages have brought innumerable individuals to God, as well as sparked revivals among many Christians.
A children’s rally will also be available.

3. Special evangelistic service at Life Church
Life Church will be having a special evangelistic Resurrection service on Easter weekend. The service will provide a clear and powerful glimpse into what Christ did on the cross and the significance of His resurrection. There will also be a special Life Kids programme on Saturday (April 19).

If you have ever felt lost, dejected, hurt or confused, God is Good: A Friend-friendly Service is what you might be looking for. Come explore what a journey of healing from brokenness to wholeness in Christ looks like.
Hear the story of Gurmit Singh as he shares honestly and openly about how finding Jesus in the midst of the most broken moments of his life made all the difference. The good news is this, that just as he has encountered Jesus, you can too.
There will be a buffet lunch after the service.
There will also be a children’s programme The Priceless Prize that will run concurrently with the service. Expect fun games and craft that your child will enjoy as they learn more about a gift that cannot be bought with money: The gift of Jesus Christ.
