Exactly a year ago, on February 20, 2020, Wilson Teo, Senior Pastor of Grace Assembly of God, was discharged from hospital, finally declared free of Covid-19.

A year after a cluster of cases had emerged in the church in the early days of the pandemic, Ps Wilson looks back on how he had to manage the church-wide crisis amid his personal crisis, all while isolated in the NCID ward.

In Part 1 of his Face-to-Face interview with Salt&Light Editor, Edric Sng, he speaks frankly about his 10 days of fears and tears, what it felt like to have a nasal swab – and the first thing he did when he stepped out of the hospital.

Check back tomorrow for Part 2 of the interview: Face to Face with Pastor Wilson Teo: What should churches learn from the pandemic?
