Easter is the most meaningful time of the year for every Christian believer, as it remembers the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the anchor of our hope.
What better time to invite your pre-believing friends and family to come to know Him?
Here are five events that may pique their interest this coming weekend, from movie screenings and drama productions to testimonies of transformation.

1. God Answers Prayers – Chew Chor Meng: Testimony sharing at Bethesda Bedok-Tampines Church
His life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with muscular atrophy in 2008. This Holy Saturday at Bethesda Bedok-Tampines Church, popular TV actor Chew Chor Meng shares his testimony of how the power of prayer guided him through one of the darkest and toughest challenges in his life.
“God Answers Prayers!” is his first-hand account of faith, resilience, and the unwavering love of God.

2. The Trial of the Century: An Easter drama production by City Harvest Church
City Harvest Church commemorates Easter with a drama production entitled The Trial Of The Century.
Centred around a Jewish leader, Aaron, the story follows how he strives to make his mark in the Sanhedrin Council. As the stakes escalate, he finds himself entangled in the trial of Jesus of Nazareth. Will Aaron stand up for the truth or succumb to the growing darkness within himself?

3. Jesus Revolution: Movie screening at Paya Lebar Chinese Methodist Church
Holy Saturday at Paya Lebar Chinese Methodist Church marks Easter in a special way.
Hear the moving testimony of former rock star Levan Wee, “From Atheist to Believer”, and find out how God touched this Christian-hater and turned him into a fervent evangelist for Him.
After that, join the church for dinner, followed by a screening of the movie Jesus Revolution, winner of the 2023 GMA Dove Award for Feature Film of the Year.
Based on a true story set in 1970s America, the movie tells of how a stuffy pastor opens his heart and church to hippie youths, an act which grows into a Jesus movement.

4. MIRRORLAND: A production by Cornerstone Community Church
MIRRORLAND is a drama production by Cornerstone Community Church which talks about Truth in the digital age.
With former TV actress Lina Ng leading the cast, this Easter production explores the complexities of social media and how to hear the voice of Truth – Jesus – amid the noise.

5. Undeserved: Easter service at Hope Singapore
On 14 April 2022, Hong Li was attacked by her estranged husband with a chopper. Left with severe injuries and filled with hatred, she faced a long road to recovery both physically and emotionally.
But in the darkness, God entered her life in a profound way.
This Easter at the Chinese services of Hope Church, Hong Li shares her testimony of the power of forgiveness and the hope that only God can bring in the midst of trauma and pain.
