We often read in the Bible on Galatians 6:10: “Therefore, as we have an opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

In Singapore, many Christian entrepreneurs in God’s family are talented in what they do, and if our needs match what they can provide, we ought to support them.
“5 Loaves and 2 Fishes” brings hope to more Christian owners through the love of Christ.
During the Circuit Breaker period, deliveries and takeaways became the new norm, and even though Phase 2 started on June 19, many people may still prefer to eat at home.
A group of us who are foodies and thoroughly enjoy fellowshipping over food with friends are always looking for Christian owned F&B outlets to patronise.
But where would we find them in Singapore? Do you know?
5 Loaves & 2 Fishes
To answer these questions, Joalin, Jeannette, and Jon (who are not F&B owners) kickstarted a project called “5 Loaves and 2 Fishes”, an initiative to create a lifeline and bring hope to more Christian owners through the love of Christ.
Our vision is to see their businesses flourish and food orders multiply supernaturally, feeding the multitudes in Singapore, and thereby testifying to the King of Kings.
By the Grace of God, within one week, resources came together with the technical assistance of TAP Team (volunteers), for us to create a central database listing Christian-owned F&B outlets.
Through this Kingdom business marketplace movement, we would like to encourage everyone (especially foodies like us!) to support Christian business owners in a practical way – whether it is ordering takeaway or delivery, dining in, or choosing a venue for hosting events, parties, and even Bible study group sessions where possible.

Send-a-friend-a-meal
In addition, some vendors have added an option for customers to “Send a friend a meal”.
This is an extra touch in which some restaurants will include a personalised note as part of the food delivery. This means customers can send a meal to a friend or family member – perhaps a pre-believer – with an encouraging message or Bible verse.
