Joseph Chean’s wake to begin this Tuesday, with services to be live-streamed

The family of Joseph Chean has shared details of his wake and funeral from November 21 to 23.

A statement released today (November 19) by friends of the family said: “Our much loved Joseph Chean has gone from glory to glory, and is now home with the Lord. Amidst the deep sadness and grief, we celebrate Joseph, who completely devoted himself to God, and loved Him with everything he had.

“Your outpourings of love and gratitude bear witness to his life, exemplary of the Word that became flesh.”

Details of the wake and funeral are as follows:

• Wake visitation times 
  10am to 10pm on Tuesday, November 21, and Wednesday, November 22
  The Chapel, St John’s-St Margaret’s Church
  30 Dover Avenue, Singapore 139790 

• Wake services
  7.30 to 8.30pm on Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22
  The Chapel, St John’s-St Margaret’s Church 
  30 Dover Avenue, Singapore 139790 

• Funeral service
  12.30 to 2.30pm, Thursday, November 23
  Glory Sanctuary, St John’s-St Margaret’s Church
  30 Dover Avenue, Singapore 139790 

  The cremation service that follows will be for family only.

The Strategic Coordinator for the Antioch 21 missions mobilisation organisation and former National Director for Youth With A Mission Singapore was called home to the Lord on 15 November 2023. He was 56.

Joseph’s daughters, Olivia and Ashley, will be speaking at the wake services.
